Responsibilities
Our client is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students. We are seeking skilled and empathetic Sighted Guides to assist visually impaired students with navigating campus and participating fully in university life. Responsibilities will include:
* Guiding students safely around campus buildings and grounds.
* Providing assistance with reading materials and other tasks as needed.
* Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Ideal Candidates Will Possess
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience and understanding of the needs of visually impaired individuals.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A genuine commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.
* Ideally, you will have worked with visually:impaired students before
* Experience working with university students is desirable
* A PVG may be required for some roles, or willingness to obtain one
