Sales Administrator / Customer Service Adviser

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Location: Oldbury

Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary ongoing (possibility to go permanent)

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Sales Administrator / Customer Service Adviser to join their busy and growing team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality customer service.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales and administration functions, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and excellent communication with customers.


Role Requirements

* Previous experience in a busy, fast‑paced environment
* Strong background in administration and customer service
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confident telephone manner with the ability to build rapport effectively
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook


Role Responsibilities

* Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally
* Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to maintain and develop relationships
* Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
* Raise and issue invoices using Xero software
* Provide proactive customer support to ensure expectations are consistently met
* Deliver an exceptional customer journey through a professional and positive approach
* Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments
* Coordinate and manage the dispatch of customer orders
