The Role:
We are seeking a System Test Technician to maintain and manage applications of current and developing technology, and undertake engineering validation, and operation of printing solutions, factory line solutions, and their associated modules and configurable options.
You will:
* Carry out test procedures by selecting appropriate techniques, procedures, and methods to undertake tasks.
* Analyse performance or test data or comparing performance information to assigned tasks.
* Identify problems and apply appropriate methods to Investigate a problem / to identify the underlying cause.
* Identify, organise, and use resources effectively to complete tasks, with consideration for cost, quality, safety, security, and environmental impact.
* Carry out tests and collect data to analyse results to provide suggestions for problems or improvements.
* Work reliably and effectively without close supervision, to the appropriate codes of practice.
* Always focus on quality and development.
* Check the status of equipment, the work environment and facilities and taking appropriate actions to keep it up to date ready for testing.
* Communicate effectively with all the internal customers across business.
* Preparing communications, documents, and reports for test projects.
* Work effectively with team members and other internal customers.
* Working within all relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, including social and employment legislation
* Understand the safety implications of their role and apply safe systems of work.
* Carry out and record the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance competence.
* Providing evidence of test results and test data to support release purpose via test plans and test reports.
About You:
We're looking for enthusiastic individual to join our team
You Will:
* Have a Level 3 qualification with mid-level experience, OR Apprenticeship with mid-level experience, OR comparable specialist knowledge with entry-level of professional experience
* Appreciation of hardware, software, and real time control systems
* Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of Bug Reporting Tools
* Experience in Software Testing
* Understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle
* ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
