Pink Butterfly Accounting is a growing and supportive accountancy practice based in Ellesmere Port. We specialise in supporting businesses within the hair and beauty industry, providing professional accounting services with a personal and approachable touch.

Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
* Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns
* Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
* VAT return preparation and review
* Bookkeeping
* Management accounts preparation and reporting
* Payroll processing using BrightPay
* Supporting workflow and internal job deadlines
* Liaising with internal team members to ensure work is completed efficiently
* Maintaining accurate and organised working papers
* Supporting improvements to processes and efficiency as the business grows
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 5 years' experience working within an accountancy practice
* AAT qualified or ACCA qualified
* Strong working knowledge of UK tax (corporation tax and self-assessment)
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Confidence working independently and managing workload
* A proactive mindset and willingness to improve systems and processes
* A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
* Strong communicator who can chat with clients and explain accounts without their eyes glazing over
Software & Systems Used
Candidates must have experience using:
* Xero (Essential)
* Dext (Essential)
* BrightPay
* IRIS Elements
* BrightManager
* Futrli
The Role:
- Part/Full time: 20-35 hours per week. Flexible for the right candidate.
* Flexible hours, Monday–Friday (perfect for school runs, life admin, or just enjoying daylight)

Salary & Perks:
£29,000 - £35,000 pro rata based on experience
