Senior Estimator - Construction Projects (Commercial) – Near Junction 10, M5 (Gloucestershire). Full-Time | Permanent - non hybrid role. £50k+ Competitive Salary + Package.
A well-established SME that are specialists in their industry near Junction 10 of the M5 are growing their team and are seeking a Senior Estimator to join their established team. This role leads in delivering accurate, competitive tenders on bespoke UK-wide projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce detailed cost estimates from drawings and specs
* Prepare and manage tenders, budgets, and bid submissions
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams
* Conduct site visits and evaluate risks (not on the road every day; travel as needed)
* Monitor project costs and ensure profitability
What You'll Need
* Proven estimating experience in a construction setting
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Good understanding of project drawings and site conditions
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Based within 45 mins of Junction 10 (Gloucestershire) or nearby
* Willing to travel for occasional site visits (some overnight stays)
