Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week (8.30am to 3.30pm, 19.5 hours per week) Term Time Only + 2 INSET days

Thorpe Hesley Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team.
Based at our outstanding school, this role will provide essential support to children aged 3 to 7, including those with additional needs within our Specialist Enhanced Provision (SEP).
We’re seeking someone who is patient, creative, and caring, ready to make a real difference in children’s learning and wellbeing. You’ll work alongside a supportive team committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
Previous experience working with children is essential, and a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is required. You should hold GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths, be flexible, numerate, IT literate, punctual, and reliable. We also welcome your commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
As part of your role, you’ll provide basic first aid during the school day; full training will be provided.
