The opportunity
You will be a key member of a matrix marketing team, executing the marketing calendar across CRM, Web, App, and third-party marketing channels, working with our partners in IAG Loyalty to maximize the use of British Airways Club and partner channels, and managing online content and assets.
This role involves close collaboration with the Senior Merchandising Manager and Data Analytics Manager to ensure optimal omni-channel execution and performance across categories like tech, travel, and accessories.
You will use your creativity and experience to drive awareness and B2C sales revenue from the Avios engaged audience, mainly from airline partners such as British Airways, Iberia Plus, Aer Lingus AerClub, and Vueling Club.
Your responsibilities include planning, designing, and executing compelling B2C marketing communications, primarily via email, and coordinating across other channels. A strong background in direct marketing and digital media within retail and e-commerce is essential.
This role is based in our London office. We offer a hybrid work approach called The Blend, providing flexibility to work from home or the office, with at least two days per week in the office. Additional locations may be required based on role needs.
What you’ll get up to
* Campaign Planning & Design: Creating detailed campaign plans including copy and design recommendations for CRM.
* Campaign Delivery: Executing a cohesive communication calendar, ensuring timely creative and campaign deployment.
* Personalisation: Collaborating with Data Insight Manager on personalisation strategies and post-campaign analysis.
* Test and Learn: Incorporating testing strategies to optimise future campaigns across various channels.
* Channel Optimisation: Monitoring and analysing marketing performance, working with analytics and e-commerce teams.
* Campaign Collaboration: Working with IAG Loyalty marketing teams on campaign execution and approval.
* Creative Management: Managing the production of marketing materials and briefing external agencies.
What we need from you
* Experience managing diverse marketing channels, ideally within retail sectors like drinks or groceries.
* Proficiency with cloud-based marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Klaviyo.
* Skills in core marketing channels (OOH, Press, CRM, SEO, PPC, Display, Affiliate, Social).
* Knowledge of e-commerce practices (content, SEO, CRO, Web Analytics).
* Experience managing external agencies for marketing and PR.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, with problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
