BUKO Traffic & Safety is a leading provider of temporary traffic management and event management services in the UK. The role is to manage a portfolio of national events from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Information
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 + 3 weekends included in salary.
* Remote work from home with regular travel to BUKO depot, Head Office and meetings across the country.
* Salary: £28,000.00 to £35,000.00 (dependent on experience, discussed at interview).
* Reports to: Events Traffic Manager.
Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of national events, ensuring accounts are maintained and developed.
* Act as the client’s main point of contact at BUKO.
* Design and implement Traffic Management Plans.
* Attend and represent the company at various meetings.
* Deliver events covering all logistical aspects (staffing, vehicles, equipment, etc.).
* Manage large numbers of people at events.
* Identify and sell new opportunities for the events team.
* Write, complete and submit tender bids.
* Work independently, manage workload and exceed personal and department targets.
* Utilise the internal bespoke system (REPS) and other company software.
* Work extended hours and travel across the country to meet clients and stakeholders; event weekends may be required.
Qualifications
* Good level of event industry knowledge (not necessarily in traffic management) and previous experience on events.
* Ability to demonstrate people management experience.
* Driving licence.
* Organised, self‑motivated, confident, professional and mature with a positive attitude.
* Honesty and reliability, as the role is largely self‑managing.
* 3‑month probationary period.
