An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Skills Centre Highland Medical Education Department for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest in clinical skills education to join the Clinical Skills Team in UHI House. The applicant should have a minimum of five years nursing post-registration experience in an acute care setting and a genuine interest in teaching and education.
The post holder will facilitate the development and delivery of undergraduate clinical skills teaching and supervision for medical students from all our University Partners, whilst supporting postgraduate medical education clinical skills training programmes. They will assist with coordinating the day-to-day running of educational activities within the Clinical Skills Centre, working closely with the Clinical Skills Educator, other team members, and the wider Highland Medical Education team to deliver core curricular teaching and assessment activities for all our University programmes.
Applicants will have a high level of competency in a variety of clinical skills procedures and experience of supervision, teaching, and assessment of these skills in clinical areas.
