We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and growing organisation within the technology sector, for a Customer Service Agent to join their on-site team in Worcestershire. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting customers and delivering a high-quality service, without working in an IT helpdesk or support role.
This role focuses on communication, relationship-building, and ensuring customers receive clear and helpful information regarding the company's services. You will not be responsible for resolving IT issues or providing technical troubleshooting.
Role Overview
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries and supporting them throughout their journey. You will use a bespoke internal software platform to manage customer accounts and ensure information is recorded accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat
Build positive and professional relationships with customers across the UK
Use bespoke customer management software to log and update account information
Provide clear guidance on products, services, and account activity
Escalate more complex matters to internal teams where required (no IT support duties)
Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing improvements in the customer experience
Candidate Profile
Our client would like to meet applicants who have:
Previous experience in a customer service role (office or contact centre preferred)
Excellent communication skills with a confident, customer-focused approach
Strong administrative and organisational ability
Confidence learning and using bespoke internal software systems
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine interest in helping customers
No technical IT support background required - this is not an IT helpdesk role
Salary & Benefits
£26,000 per year
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
On-site parking
Full training provided, including on bespoke internal systems

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Location: On-site in Worcestershire (commutable from Kidderminster, Malvern, Worcester, Bromsgrove, Evesham and surrounding areas)
