We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice in Hove, seeking to hire a Paraplanner.

Paraplanning is a technical role supporting Financial Advisers across various areas such as pensions, mortgages, general insurance, tax, and investment management. The main responsibility is to process client information gathered during meetings, research suitable financial solutions, and prepare reports and supporting documents for client review.
While Paraplanners do not provide financial advice, they produce essential documentation, conduct technical analyses, and manage paperwork with product providers, keeping both advisers and clients informed.
The role can be broken down into four key areas:
1. Preparing and maintaining client files.
2. Developing financial recommendations.
3. Implementing approved recommendations.
4. Conducting reviews.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Financial Adviser in establishing new client relationships.
* Assess clients’ financial situations.
* Prepare financial statements to support strategy development.
* Research appropriate products and services for clients.
* Draft financial solutions aligned with clients’ goals.
* Complete application and proposal forms accurately.
* Implement actions like updating investment holdings and policies as directed.
* Support ongoing client relationships through regular reviews and communication.
These duties are not exhaustive and may include additional responsibilities within your skill set as required by the company.
Minimum Requirements
* At least 2 years of Paraplanning experience.
* Good knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.
* Strong report writing skills.
* Hard-working with great attention to detail.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Experience using Financial Planning software tools.
