We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared efficiently and to perfection, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu specifications.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
* Follow recipes accurately while also being able to adapt to special dietary requirements or customer requests.
* Maintain equipment and utensils in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
* A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
