We are looking for an experienced practice accountant.
The position would suit someone who is part or fully qualified in a recognised accounting body or QBE with at least 3 years' experience working within a practice environment.
Expected hours 39 hours per week but we are open to offering part-time hours too.
The salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience.

Requirements are as follows:
Essential skills:
* Experience of working in an accountancy practice
* Be able to prepare year end accounts for sole traders and partnerships
* Be able to prepare limited company accounts to trial balance level
* Be able to prepare VAT returns
* Excellent knowledge of excel
* Experience of using accounting packages such as VT, XERO and Sage
* Liaising with clients
* Answering telephone calls and dealing with client queries as required
Advisable skills:
* Experience of completing self-assessment tax returns
* Experience of running payrolls
* Experience of CIS submissions
