Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Designer (contract). The role will be working at our Reading office on a large FEED for a gas related project in the Middle East.
The Role
As a Electrical Designer you will be delivering electrically related documentation on a autonomous basis with minimal oversight of the project Engineering team.

What makes you remarkable?
Expected:
1. HNC in Electrical Engineering, or related subject
2. A proven track record in the following project phases: FEED, Detailed Engineering (EPC)
3. Be technically strong and have experience within the Oil and Gas and Power transmission industry (Overhead lines and buried HV / MV / LV cables)
4. Ability to review client specification and develop techno economic optimised design solutions
5. Computer literate with excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Previous Saudi Aramco experience
