* Lead the design and development of advanced motor and inverter control algorithms, including Field‑Oriented Control (FOC), Direct Torque Control (DTC), and sensorless control techniques.
* Create and refine mathematical models using simulation tools to ensure robust control strategies.
* Integrate embedded control software with HIL systems for closed‑loop testing and fault injection analysis.
* Develop and maintain HIL simulation environments using platforms such as dSPACE, NI VeriStand, or Speedgoat for real‑time validation of control software.
* Support automated testing and regression analysis through scripting and toolchain development.
* Ensure software and systems meet safety standards like ISO 26262.
* Collaborate with electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, and safety teams to define system requirements.
* Diagnose and resolve electro‑mechanical, electrical/electronics, and electro‑pneumatic system issues.
* Document and mentor less‑experienced engineers through detailed technical documentation.
Responsibilities
* Deep knowledge of motor control theory, inverter topologies, and power electronics, especially for PMSM, BLDC, & induction motors.
* Hands‑on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, embedded software development, and HIL platforms such as dSPACE or NI VeriStand.
* Analyze simulation/test data, debug complex systems, and optimize control strategies for performance and reliability.
* Communicate effectively across disciplines to define system requirements and lead validation efforts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field.
* Proven expertise in motor control theory, inverter topologies, and power electronics.
* Experience developing and tuning control algorithms for PMSM, BLDC, and induction motors.
* Prior experience in electric power steering or electric brake systems.
* Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and embedded software development.
* Hands‑on experience with HIL platforms and real‑time simulation tools.
* Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
