Design Technology Teacher Location: York, North Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP Salary: £130 - £170 per day GSL Education are seeking a passionate and inspiring Design Technology Teacher to work at a Client Secondary School in York, starting as soon as possible. Design Technology Teacher Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Design and Technology. Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources in line with the national curriculum and department goals. Support and inspire students of all abilities. Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor student progress. Ensure high standards of classroom management. Design Technology Teacher Requirements: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). A degree in a relevant subject area. Strong subject knowledge across a range of Design Technology disciplines. Ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students with engaging lessons. A collaborative, reflective approach with a commitment to continuous improvement. Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one with GSL Education.
