About the Role
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant. You will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive image of the home.
* Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
* Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for activities.
* Establish links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to promote intergenerational activities and community access.
About You

* Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Understand the importance of interaction in residents' well-being.
* Have a positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating activities and social events.
* Have previous experience working with older people in a residential, nursing, or dementia care setting.
