Leeper Prosser Solicitors Ltd are recruiting a Commercial and Residential Solicitor to assist with an existing case‑load.
This role offers an opportunity to join a successful, well‑established independent firm in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Small enough to offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the firm has ambitions to expand its offering in an area of rapid growth with excellent transport links to surrounding communities as well as London, Swindon, Birmingham and Bristol. With many new residential developments underway and more anticipated in the coming years there are excellent opportunities for growth and development.
We are looking for a personable solicitor who can work effectively as part of the team. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years qualified and already CQS accredited, but this is only a guideline; aptitude, an appetite for hard work and an aspiration to progress are the main requirements.
Responsibilities
* Managing residential conveyancing transactions
* Advising clients on all aspects of freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, re‑mortgages and transfers of equity, first registrations
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties to ensure smooth progress throughout
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining excellent client care standards
* Helping maintain the firm’s strong local presence
* Experience with commercial property work would be beneficial but is not essential
* Handling a range of general commercial property law matters including leases, sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, disposals and acquisitions
