A Manufacturing Engineer opportunity with a specialist business based in Leicester, producing advanced raw materials used in high-performance engineering applications. With continued investment in production capability and operational improvement, the company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive efficiency, reduce waste and support scalable production growth. Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities include -
* Leading continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency, yield and process reliability.
* Analysing manufacturing performance data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies, variation and cost reduction opportunities.
* Implementing Lean manufacturing tools including 5S, standard work and structured problem-solving.
* Leading root cause investigations into downtime, non-conformances and process deviations.
