CDM Safety Manager

Salary up to £65k plus travel and strong benefits package
Shirley Parsons is exclusively partnered with a leading construction organisation working alongside a Local Authority. Due to the nature of the projects, this role requires a strong CDM background and construction experience. This role will involve frequent stakeholder engagement and will provide the opportunity for the successful candidate to be hands-on with projects and site teams.
The CDM Safety Manager will be responsible for:
– Ensuring the responsibility of safety for all contractors, operators and members of the public on and around the construction sites
– Monitor the performance of your sites in order to identify where additional support/actions are required.
– Providing CDM advice and guidance to contractors
– Review of project construction phase plans (CPP), risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
The CDM Safety Manager will have:
– CMIOSH is essential
– Strong CDM knowledge and practical experience
– Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
