Job overview
We are looking to recruit a part-time (4 days per week) Lead administrator based at Wokingham Hospital, with free parking, to work specifically for the Children in Care service within CAMHS. You will need to be an accurate typist, have previous administrative experience, and confidence in using Microsoft packages.
The Children in Care dedicated Mental Health Team has been established to ensure that children in care receive quicker access to mental health support. By working in partnership and sharing knowledge, we aim to effectively meet the needs of children and young people in care.

Berkshire CAMHS is a multi-disciplinary community-based service serving a child population of approximately 300,000 across the County. The teams include child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapists, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, art/play therapists, social workers, and Primary Mental Health Workers.
Main duties of the job
* Leading admin support for the team, assisting clinicians with correspondence and appointment bookings. Handling emails and calls, following up as needed.
* Taking minutes at meetings, managing diaries, and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Working independently and demonstrating a willingness to assist others as a team member.
* Building effective relationships with a flexible approach to work.
* Prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Organising daily administrative systems to ensure smooth team operations.

Education/Qualifications/Training
* Knowledge of administrative and office procedures.
* Experience in busy office/customer care roles, supervising staff or work.
* ECDL or equivalent, proficiency in MS Office.
* Typing speed of 50-60wpm.
* Knowledge of digital typing.
