Are you passionate about shaping a better world through innovative engineering solutions? We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (EICA) to join a multidisciplinary team delivering impactful water and energy projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead or support the design and integration of EICA systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including MCCs, VSDs, instrumentation, and control systems.
* Collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineers to deliver holistic solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory standards.
* Provide technical assurance across all project stages, from feasibility and optioneering through to commissioning and handover.
* Contribute to strategic planning and development of EICA capabilities within water and energy teams.
* Mentor junior engineers and assist with project planning and client engagement.
Experience
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards it.
* Strong understanding of water treatment processes and associated EICA systems.
* Experience with energy systems such as renewables, battery storage, or hydrogen (desirable).
* Ability to produce cost-effective EICA designs and deliverables, including single-line diagrams, cable block diagrams, MCC layouts, and control specifications.
