Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Resourcing & Recruitment:
* Source apprenticeship candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and internal databases.
* Screen candidates via telephone, video, and face-to-face interviews.
* Assess candidate suitability against apprenticeship standards and employer requirements.
* Maintain accurate candidate records on CRM system.
Apprentice Placement & Matching:
* Match candidates to appropriate apprenticeship vacancies.
* Prepare candidates for interviews (CV support, interview guidance, expectations).
* Coordinate interviews between candidates and employers.
* Support successful onboarding and placement of apprentices.
Employer & Stakeholder Support:
* Liaise with employers to understand vacancy requirements and workforce needs.
* Provide timely updates to employers on candidate progress.
* Support employer engagement teams with vacancy fulfilment.
Administration & Compliance:
* Ensure all candidate documentation is complete and compliant.
* Support eligibility checks and right-to-work requirements.
* Maintain GDPR-compliant records.
* Track placement outcomes and report on KPIs.
Continuous Improvement:
* Contribute to improving recruitment and placement processes.
* Support marketing and outreach activities to attract new applicants.
* Participate in training and development as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Skills & Attributes:
Essential:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Organised with good attention to detail.
* Confident using IT systems (MS Office, CRM databases).
* Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities.
* Professional, proactive, and customer-focused.
Desirable:
* Interest in recruitment, HR, or apprenticeships.
* Experience of working in an office or customer-facing role.
