We are recruiting on behalf of a client based in Cambridge seeking an Audit Senior/Assistant Manager for a permanent full-time position, mainly office‑based.
Responsibilities
* Leading fieldwork on audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients
* Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and supporting workpapers
* Supervising and mentoring junior team members on‑site and remotely
* Liaising directly with clients, acting as a key point of contact during fieldwork
* Assisting with audit planning, risk assessment, and completion processes
* Supporting managers with technical issues and file reviews
* Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and auditing standards
Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA part‑qualified or newly qualified
* Strong technical audit and accounts preparation skills
* Confident communicator with some client‑facing experience
* Ability to manage workloads across multiple assignments
* Proactive, detail‑focused, and keen to develop supervisory responsibility
