The London Borough of Harrow is seeking passionate and committed Social Workers to join our Children's Safeguarding Service. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families across our community.
We are inviting applications from qualified social workers with a range of experience levels, from newly qualified practitioners seeking their first statutory role to highly experienced senior-level professionals.
As a valued member of our team, you will manage a manageable caseload of children who are subject to Child Protection Plans, Child in Need Plans, and Care Proceedings. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. You will be supported by a highly experienced, stable, and collaborative management team that is dedicated to safeguarding children and improving outcomes for families. About You
We are seeking applications from social workers who have completed their ASYE and have at least one year of post-qualifying experience. The successful candidate will have experience in the following:
* Have a Social Work Qualification i.e. CQSW, DipSW or equivalent
* Be registered with Social Work England as a Social Worker
* Able to pass a clear enhanced DBS check
* Working knowledge of all statutory duties and responsibilities relating to children and families, including:
* Legislation
* Regulations and Standards
* Government Objectives and Initiatives
* National and Common Assessment Framework
