Job Description

Due to high demand, New Directions Education is looking to recruit Primary Teachers to work across primary schools on the Wirral for part-time and ad hoc supply roles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers seeking flexibility, whether you’re balancing home life, returning to teaching, or simply wanting more control over your working week.

The Role:
You’ll be delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on your experience), stepping into schools on a flexible basis to provide high-quality cover and continuity of learning.

Job Specification

We recruit Primary Teachers for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher job roles.

As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:

1. Teach all areas of the school curriculum
2. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
3. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
4. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
5. Maintain discipline
6. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
7. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
8. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
9. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
