We're seeking a suitably skilled Cybersecurity & Compliance Technician to join our growing Cyber and Compliance team.
As a Cybersecurity & Compliance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our customers through the process of attaining and maintaining various standards and certifications. These include IASME Cyber Essentials (Basic and Plus), IASME Cyber Assurance (Level 1 & 2), and other relevant frameworks.
You will also lead the ongoing analysis, reporting, and remediation of software vulnerabilities identified through regular scanning of customer environments.
You'll regularly liaise with third-party suppliers, assessors, and customers, so the ability to communicate confidently and clearly, both verbally and in writing, is essential
Experience/Skills:
Desktop Support Technician (1st and some 2nd line):
Demonstrable experience and/or a solid understanding of any or all of the following in a business context is highly desirable:
* IASME Cyber Essentials (Basic or Plus)
* IASME Cyber Assurance (Level 1 & 2)
* Software Vulnerability analysis, reporting and remediation
* Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
* Microsoft Server Operating Systems
* Apple iOS \ MACOS Operating System
* Linux Operating Systems
* Microsoft 365, Entra ID and/or Azure
* Powershell scripting
* RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools
Candidates should be passionate about technology and committed to educating users to act as human firewalls within their organisations. The role requires accurately recording your work and maintaining a high standard of documentation throughout.
Salary will be dependent on experience and skills, but as a guide £28,500 - £35,000 per annum.
