About the Role
JD.com are hiring an Assistant Delivery Station Manager for our new Oxford operation to assist in leading on our last-mile delivery process. You will play a key role in ensuring that parcels move swiftly and accurately from our distribution network to our customers’ doorsteps.
As the Assistant Manager, you’ll manage shift teams of associates and delivery drivers, coordinate dispatch and inbound activity, monitor KPIs, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee day-to-day operations at your assigned delivery station
2. Supervise and co-ordinate a team of associates and drivers during shifts
3. Monitor station performance metrics (parcel volume, dispatch accuracy, failed deliveries)
4. Ensure timely sorting, loading, and dispatch of parcels
5. Support driver check-in, briefings, and daily route readiness
6. Identify and resolve operational issues in real-time
7. Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with H&S regulations
