We are looking for someone to take ownership of the operations onboarding process for mission critical vehicles and the day-day relationships with the maintenance suppliers, account management teams and key customers.
The right candidate will have experience of:
* ensuring maximum customer confidence through owning the onboarding and operation set up process and supplier management in addition to
* ensuring customer’s go lives and initial deployment are managed through a smooth transition and set up via strong supplier management
In return we are offering a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience, in addition to a great benefits package such as a bonus scheme and a choice of flexible benefits.
Role Specific
Core Role
* Support customers and internal/external stakeholders to transition into LeasePlan operations smoothly and effectively with minimal disruption.
* Ensure vehicles are maintained and managed to agreed KIs/SLAs and fit customer requirements.
* Manage suppliers to ensure successful operational knowledge and ownership are embedded.
* Support the Operations directorate team with knowledge and data to drive ownership and accountability.
* Identify network requirements and opportunities and work with customer and supplier to set up.
* Preparation of vehicle ‘operations and compliance portfolio’ for handover to Technical / in-life teams.
* Building trust and confidence with customers and commercial teams.
* SME for new Mission Critical Operations within LPUK, up to date with operations elements of customer contracts.
Relationship Management
* Manage the onboarding process and checks with suppliers and any 3rd party associated service providers.
* Support Tender & Implementation teams for new opportunities where operational management is required
* Ensuring regular communication with Commercial, Operations and CS&Q in relation to client specific requirements.
Financial Control
* Identify network and RMT costs with cost reduction plans shared.
* Ensuring CV, CS&Q and Account Management teams are aware of issues relating to deployment, supply management and fleet related issues.
Reporting & Systems (including Service Level Agreements - ‘SLAs’)
* Manage all activity through a supplier system (or equivalent), setting and maintaining clear milestones, actions and accountability
* Ensuring accurate forecasting, planning and documentation is shared and up to date.
* Meet all agreed SLA’s and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) linked to operational management.
* Maintenance of full accurate customer records in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Delivering Great Service
* Arrange regular update meetings with suppliers and clients to track progress of fleet operations, specifically RMT.
* Continuous supplier management
* Keep abreast of fleet market conditions and specific industry changes.
Qualifications and Experience Required
* Evidence of fleet industry knowledge
* Experience in fleet and/or operations management management
* Degree or relevant experience in complex fleet management/logistics
* CPC holder, O Licence holder
* Experience in supplier & client relationship management
* Fluent in business English language - written and verbal
* Good level of knowledge and experience of customer and fleet process
* Knowledge of working in a Fleet and Commercial environment.
* Experience of working in teams and managing stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently.
* Working knowledge of core Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).
* Smartsheet experience an advantage but willingness to learn quickly is essential
* Ability to attend client & supplier meetings
