Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Salary: £35,000 £40,000 DOE

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer with strong technical aptitude and exceptional troubleshooting skills. This role requires an individual with robust verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with clients, colleagues, and end users. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with clear communication to deliver high-quality commissioning solutions that reflect our company values of positivity, empathy, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Uphold company values and maintain our reputation with clients, partners, and suppliers.
* Review drawings and designs prior to hardware procurement to minimise discrepancies.
* Collaborate with Project Managers to schedule commissioning works and resources (sub-contractors, programmers, etc.).
* Prepare hardware and software off-site for upcoming projects.
* Liaise with clients to confirm technical prerequisites, including network and account requirements.
* Build and update project asset registers and hand them over to the support team.
* Undertake regular training courses to stay up to date with relevant technology.
* Attend client sites to thoroughly commission systems and provide user training.
* Systematically test systems on-site, ensuring results are logged in the asset register.
* Respond to escalated service desk tickets (approx. 20% of role).
* Undertake additional duties outside the core job description when required to support the business.
* Stay current on AV technologies, trends, and best practices.
* Represent the company professionally at all times with clients, partners, and suppliers.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
