As a Gas Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of gas services. Here's what the role entails:
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision: Lead and oversee a team of gas engineers, ensuring work is completed to high standards and in line with safety protocols.
Compliance: Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure all activities meet industry standards.
Service & Installation: Coordinate gas servicing, installations, and reactive maintenance across properties.
Contract Management: Manage daily contract operations, including interpreting maintenance reports and conducting risk assessments.
Team Leadership: Motivate and support your team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, residents, and internal teams.
Requirements
Experience in domestic gas service, repairs, and maintenance, including installations.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, ideally with previous experience managing gas engineers.
Knowledge of Gas Safety Regulations and industry standards.
Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams.
Organisational and planning abilities to manage schedules, resources, and performance reviews.
IT proficiency, especially in using PDAs or similar systems to track work and performance.
