We are seeking an exceptional Teacher of Economics and Business Studies to join us in September 2025 on a full-time and permanent basis.
We aim to appoint an inspirational and forward-thinking teacher with a strong interest in delivering quality and innovative teaching. You will join an experienced and supportive Department of Economics and Business.
The successful candidate will teach Business Studies for KS4 and KS5, and Economics for KS5.
Our pedagogical training model emphasizes Deliberate Practice, Curriculum-specific training, and Instructional Coaching, with every teacher having the opportunity to work one-to-one with an expert coach. We also support staff through various National Professional Qualifications to develop educational leadership.
DUTIES:
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering business topics such as marketing, finance, management, and entrepreneurship.
* Assess student performance via assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to facilitate learning.
* Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes participation and collaboration.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and participate in school events and professional development.
REQUIREMENTS:
* A degree in Business Studies or Economics
* PGCE and UK QTS
* Strong understanding of business concepts and effective communication skills
* Ability to engage students of varying abilities
* A passion for education and fostering student growth
* Proficiency in educational technology is advantageous
