As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities : Multi-drop deliveries: You will be responsible for completing multiple deliveries ( expect 20 to 35 drops ) in a timely manner, ensuring that goods reach their destinations promptly and safely. Deliveries & collections: Make scheduled and on-request deliveries and collections, ensuring all items are accounted for and handled carefully. Transport goods securely: Ensure all goods are transported securely and safely, adhering to the proper protocols for loading and unloading. Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Manual handling: Be prepared for manual labor, including heavy lifting during deliveries. Traffic laws & safety: Adhere to all traffic regulations, road safety laws, and company policies while on the road. Effective communication: Regularly communicate with the logistics team and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations. Customer service: Provide excellent customer service at all times, ensuring a professional and friendly attitude when interacting with clients. Requirements : Valid B category and clean driving record (no DR, IN endorsements). No more than 6 points. Proven experience in a similar role desired. Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
