Overview

First Achieve are working with a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, renowned for their high-quality production standards. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Trainee Shot Blaster to their team.


Key Responsibilities

* Preparing and organising parts for blasting
* Loading and unloading items into blasting equipment
* Following production deadlines and schedules
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
* Carrying out basic equipment checks and maintenance (filters, nozzles, dust extraction units, etc.)
* Using safety equipment correctly at all times
* Working to company procedures and policies
* Communicating effectively with colleagues


What They're Looking For

* No experience required - full training will be provided
* Willingness to do hands-on, physical work (the role is noisy, dusty, and requires protective gear)
* Positive, "can-do" attitude and reliability
* Mechanical ability beneficial (confidence with tools and machinery helps)
* Organised and able to work on own initiative (preparing parts, managing workload without constant supervision)
* Strong communication skills


Desirable (but not essential - training provided)

* Valid forklift licence
* Overhead crane experience
