Area Sales Manager required in the South West
Covering Devon, Cornwall and Somerset
Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings on rota (1in3)
£29,000 Basic, negotiable depending on experience

Responsibilities/duties of a Area Sales Manager include:
Managing the sales team within your area.
Identify new business and develop existing business within your area through well executed sales planning.
Organise your team to carry out local market research and monitor and report information about competitor activity.
Achieve growth in line with budget.
Manage your team of BDM’s by measuring them against set business KPIs.
Responsible for the delivery of sales promotions and marketing material
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Performance manages your team of BDMs.
Identification of training requirements for your team of BDMs
Assist in customer visits.
High level of commercial awareness
Answering telephone queries and dealing with electronic queries, turning enquiries into sales.
Fully satisfy customer needs in respect of any part orders, respects or queries they may have.
Contribute to a positive team performance whilst working on personal benchmarks to optimise personal performance and work on sale product promotions
Develop knowledge of products through study of internal literature
Control the Stock in the business
Meet with customers
The successful candidate ideally will come from an automotive/agricultural/technical background however our client will be open to candidates who would like to join the Automotive sector and have a willingness to learn new skills.
