Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a care team - setting a tone of care, compassion, and high standards. Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the home is compliant, well-led, and delivering person-centred care. Maintain strong financial oversight of budgets and cost control. Build positive relationships with residents, families, regulators, and the local community. Take ownership of audits, action plans, and regulatory inspections, driving improvement across the board. Uphold safety, safeguarding, and legal compliance as part of everyday practice. Be a visible, values-driven leader, someone staff look up to and residents trust. Skills & Experience Required Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards). Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in residential elderly care. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards. Confident in budget management and performance reporting. Skilled in coaching and developing teams - you’ll know how to build trust, morale, and accountability. Calm, organised, and passionate about doing things the right way.
