Logistics Shift Manager Nights Shift - Wakefield Depot
Up to £40,000k per annum plus excellent benefits package
4 out of 7 Shifts working 8pm - 6am
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Shift Manager within our Logistics Division; Wakefield. We are after someone who is proactive, motivated and passionate about their role, whilst offering excellent service and standards to our customers.
The key purpose of this role:
You will be responsible for the control of efficient and cost effective operations within the depot in order to provide a high quality service to the customer, whilst working within the constraints of company policy and relevant legal requirements

Key Accountabilities:
Maintain efficient and effective operations through effective team management, assisting with the achievement of set KPI’sEnsure high standards of customer service throughout all areas of responsibility Control of goods receipt, replenishment, ferrying, customer order processing and despatch operations Control of stocktaking/checking/maintenance systems and procedures- includes resultsControl of all ancillary operations affecting the quality of service provisionStaff recruitment, development, retention and performance, including the effective supervision of standard hour payment schemesAssisting with the achievement of continuous improvement objectives using tools and techniques that are availableSome Key Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:-
High degree of numeracy and literacy with 5x GCSE (A-C) / (4-8) - preferable Level 3 health and safety qualification (IOSH) and Level 3 food safety qualification - preferableWarehousing and transport experience preferred Communicates effectively at all levelsAbility to provide leadership, direction and motivation to teams Ability to deal with conflict in an effective and professional manner What's in it for you?
