At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a well‑supported charity at the heart of our community, operating three hospices, a range of community services and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.
This role is part‑time (30 hours per week) and based in the Henley in Arden charity shop. The shop is open 6‑7 days per week, so the rota will include weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Manage and recruit volunteers
* Oversee shop layouts and displays
* Generate high‑quality stock donations
* Undertake administration
* Maximise sales, e.g. through Gift Aid and our Lottery
Qualifications
* Retail experience
* Experience of leading a team of volunteers
* Confidence in calculating figures and working with financial targets
* Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
An enhanced DBS check, including the children’s barred list, will be required for this role because it involves managing volunteers under the age of 16. The cost of the check will be covered if the person is offered the job.
