Employment Solicitor – NQ to 3 PQE

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Employment Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join a respected and growing team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to build their career in a supportive environment, handling a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Hybrid working is available once established.
You’ll work closely with senior fee-earners while developing your own caseload, enjoying a strong blend of client contact, hands-on responsibility and high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on a broad range of employment law matters, including:
* Disciplinary and grievance issues
* Unfair dismissal and discrimination claims
* Redundancy and restructuring
* Contracts, policies and employment documentation
* Settlement agreements
* TUPE and workforce changes
* Managing your own files with supervision where needed
* Supporting the team on tribunal matters, including drafting, disclosure and preparation
* Building strong client relationships with both individuals and employers
* Assisting with business development and contributing to wider team initiatives
About You
* Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), NQ–3 PQE
* A training seat or prior experience in employment law is essential
* Strong drafting, communication and analytical skills
* Confident, client-focused and able to work both independently and collaboratively
* A proactive approach with genuine interest in developing your employment law expertise
