Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this senior role will suit a commercially minded professional with a legal or contracts background, who can interpret contractual detail, understand legislation, and apply it pragmatically to real-world business and client scenarios. Key Responsibilities Review, interpret, and advise on commercial contracts, Ts & Cs, and legal documentation Apply contract and legislative requirements in a practical, business-focused way Support contract negotiation and risk management with internal stakeholders Provide guidance on governance, compliance, and corporate obligations Maintain statutory records and support company secretarial responsibilities Oversee company insurance renewals and related annual reviews Contribute to broader commercial and governance matters as required About You Experience in a commercial, legal, contracts, or governance-focused role Strong understanding of contracts, legislation, and commercial risk Pragmatic, level-headed, and able to balance legal detail with business reality Confident working with senior stakeholders and directors Background in legal, financial services, insurance, or regulated environments beneficial Company secretarial experience desirable, but not essential No formal qualifications required experience and judgement matter most.
