About the role
As Nightshift Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for keeping our night operations running smoothly. You’ll organise jobs for the nightshift team, manage trailer movements, and make sure everything is where it needs to be, on time and in order.
You will be responsible for:
Organising jobs and collections for nightshift colleagues
Loading and emptying trailers, and creating load lists/manifests
Ensuring trailers are at ferry terminals on time for scheduled departures
Entering jobs into the system and completing handover paperwork
Dealing with any issues that arise during the night and reporting to management
Coordinating with planning and warehouse teams to keep operations flowing
You’ll be part of a mixed and supportive team in Inverness, working 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. The role is hands-on, fast-paced, and vital to keeping our logistics network moving overnight.
About you
You’ll need to have previous supervisory experience and be confident leading a team. A valid HGV Class 1 licence and Forklift licence are essential, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft systems for entering jobs and managing records.
