Overview A well-established and expanding provider of therapeutic residential care for children is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager. This role will support existing services and play a key leadership role in the launch of new homes scheduled to open this year and in 2026. This is a rare opportunity for someone who aspires to move into a Responsible Individual position in the near future, with a clear development pathway in place. ?? Key Responsibilities Provide operational and strategic oversight across multiple childrens homes. Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and internal policies. Support Registered Managers in delivering high-quality, therapeutic, child-centred care. Monitor and drive service performance, identifying areas for improvement and leading change. Manage resources, staffing, and budgets to maintain effective operations. Work closely with senior leadership to shape the direction and development of the service. Promote a culture of excellence, empathy, and accountability. ? Essential Requirements Senior leadership experience in childrens residential care (minimum 1 year preferred). Strong working knowledge of The Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015). NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Excellent communication, people management, and problem-solving skills. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). Full UK driving licence. ??
