Maths Teacher or SEN Teacher – SEMH Make a real difference where it matters most A specialist secondary SEMH provision is seeking a committed and resilient teacher to join a highly supportive team working with young people aged 11 to 16. The primary focus of the role is Maths; however, there is also scope for a strong general SEN teacher who may not be a Maths specialist. About the pupils Pupils in this setting present with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. Their education has often been disrupted, and some may have negative associations with school. They learn best in small classes with consistent routines, clear boundaries and adults who are calm, patient and relational in their approach.
