Job Description
3. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
4. Process invoices, payments, and expense reports efficiently and accurately.
5. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
6. Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation for audits.
7. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
8. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
9. Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
10. Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
12. Experience within the construction industry highly desirable.
13. Previous experience using COINS highly desirable.
14. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
15. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
16. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
17. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
