Your Responsibilities:
1. Take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering high-quality teaching with a strong focus on phonics and literacy development.
2. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
3. Benefit from allocated PPA time to support planning and assessment.
4. Work collaboratively with a dedicated Teaching Assistant who provides targeted support for pupils with additional needs and EHCP plans.
5. Maintain regularmunication with the TA to ensure effective provision for individual learners.
6. Attend staff meetings and contribute to the wider schoolmunity.
What you'll need to succeed :
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
8. Previous experience teaching Year 2 and delivering phonics-based learning.
9. Strong classroom management and ability to create a positive learning environment.
10. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
