About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Art curriculum. You will work closely with the Art teachers to ensure a safe, productive, and inspiring learning environment for all students. Key Responsibilities Preparation and Support: Prepare and maintain art studios and resources for effective lesson delivery. Order and manage art supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and budget adherence. Assist teachers in setting up and clearing away for lessons. Maintain the health and safety standards within the art studios, adhering to all regulations. Technical Expertise: Utilize technical skills to maintain and prepare a wide range of art materials and equipment (e.g., kilns, printing presses, woodworking tools). Assist with technical aspects of lessons, demonstrations, and practical activities. Provide guidance and support to students on the safe and proper use of tools and equipment. Student Support: Offer support and guidance to students during lesson time, assisting with technical queries and troubleshooting. Play a role in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Additional Responsibilities: May contribute to the organization and preparation of art exhibitions and displays. Assist with administrative tasks within the Art department (as required). The Ideal Candidate A highly organized and motivated individual with a passion for art and creativity. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to health and safety regulations within a school environment. Experience working in a similar role or a relevant artistic field (desirable). Basic understanding of various art materials and techniques (desirable).
