We are looking for a friendly and approachable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Animal House Vets to cover maternity leave.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in customer service and administrative tasks, as well as a minimum of three GCSEs grade 4/c or above. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and experience in customer service and administration.
Your duties will include:
* Greet clients and their pets as they arrive at the clinic
* Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
* Check-in patients and verify their information
* Update patient records and ensure accuracy of information
* Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
* Maintain cleanliness of reception area and exam rooms
The rota and salary
You will be working a 39.75 hour week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays, and this could be at any of our 4 branches, so being able to work as part of the team or under your own initiative is a must.
The salary will be up to £23,728 DOE per annum.
