Commercial Finance (Interim - 3 Months)
Location: Rochdale (Hybrid - 3 days per week, first week fully in office)
Day Rate / Salary: Equivalent to £60k per annum
Start Date: Monday
Overview:We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a well-established business on a 3-month interim basis. This role will provide additional support to the finance team during a period of absence, assist with upcoming audit preparation, and deliver ad-hoc commercial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support purely commercial finance activities, providing insightful analysis and commentary.
* Refresh and maintain Power BI dashboards and utilise Power Query to manipulate and interrogate data.
* Review management reports and compile meaningful commentary for stakeholders.
* Contribute to the production of monthly management packs.
* Assist with audit preparation and ad-hoc financial analysis.
* Support packaging tax-related work and other data-driven projects.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Business Partner or similar senior finance role.
* Strong Power BI and Power Query skills.
* Excellent analytical and data interpretation capabilities.
* Confident in preparing commentary and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
* Able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
