Overview Finance Director (Confidential) — Step-Up Opportunity, Up To £90,000 Reports to: CEO | Contract: Full-time, office-based What you’ll lead Set finance & accounting strategy; act as CEO/Board adviser and business partner. Full ownership of financial control, reporting and compliance (statutory, audit, tax). Robust budgeting/forecasting, FP&A, KPIs and decision support across the business. Working capital, cashflow and revenue management (pricing/margin, profitability). Continuous improvement of processes, controls and ERP/CRM usage. Team leadership: objectives, development and high-standards culture. Corporate finance activity as required (capex cases, debt, disposals/acquisitions). Build strong external relationships (banks, advisors, auditors). About you Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA); strong post-qualification experience. Product-environment background (e.g., retail, distribution, manufacturing). Proven people leader; hands-on, commercially sharp, calm under pace. Excellent FP&A, cash and controls; confident with ERP/CRM and Excel. Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving change with integrity.
