About The Role

Lead the day-to-day management of manufacturing planning across operational factory sites and co-pack suppliers to deliver optimized customer service while driving maximum supply chain efficiencies. This pivotal role connects demand planning, site operations, and procurement teams to ensure seamless production flow, inventory optimization, and waste reduction. The ideal candidate will balance analytical planning expertise with strong stakeholder management skills to drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing network.

Role Responsibilities

* Develop and execute production plans that optimize product availability while maintaining efficient inventory levels across the Britvic portfolio
* Lead and present at operational review meetings to ensure alignment between short-term demand forecasts and manufacturing capabilities
* Collaborate with the Availability Manager Group to maximize direct customer deliveries and reduce internal transport movements
* Proactively communicate with stakeholders to ensure forecast understanding, risk mitigation, and contingency planning
* Spearhead focused improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and reduce overall costs
* Lead logistics and operational planning projects that deliver measurable waste reduction and efficiency gains
* Maintain and update master data to ensure robust production planning and scheduling

Experience and Key Attributes

* Demonstrated experience in manufacturing planning or supply chain operations, with ERP and SAP R3 knowledge preferred
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel proficiency for complex data analysis
* Technical supply planning expertise including stock modeling, master data management, and performance reporting
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate changes through detailed planning and balanced decision-making
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt style to different audiences and situations
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments while meeting deadlines
* Business or Operations qualification preferred, with minimum educational requirement of 5 GCSEs or equivalent
